With nearly 25 years experience in healthcare technology, Jason is a serial healthcare IT entrepreneur, focused on launching disruptive products that drive digital health innovation and value-based care outcomes. Jason’s career includes leading data-driven product development, corporate strategy, business development, strategic partnerships, technology implementation, and solution portfolio commercialization.

Amongst Jason’s most recent experience at Inovalon over the past decade, he served as a senior executive supporting the Company from start-up through IPO. As Executive Vice President and Chief Strategic Development Officer, Jason led development for several blockbuster products at Inovalon and marketed expansion of the Company’s technology presence across the healthcare marketplace. Jason’s deep experience includes solution development and implementation for managed care, providers and government. Prior work experience includes Cerner, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Inspiris and Ardent Health Services.

Jason earned his Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) degree from The George Washington University School of Business. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Radford University.

Cyndi joined AdhereHealth in 2011 with more than 20 years of healthcare expertise focusing on product strategy and leads the company’s technology-enabled clinical services delivery nationwide. She is also responsible for the senior executive management of AdhereHealth’s high-touch pharmacy, AdhereRx.

Prior to joining AdhereHealth, Cyndi was responsible for quality, Star Ratings, regulatory compliance, and accreditation activities for the Sterling Life Insurance’s Windsor Health Plan. Cyndi’s previous experience also includes oversight of regulatory compliance and Joint Commission quality metrics for St. Thomas of Nashville, a multi-hospital system.

Cyndi holds a BS in Nursing and a MS in Healthcare Administration from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Mrs. Alexander is a former Baldrige Award surveyor, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) through NCQA, and currently sits on the advisory board for NCQA SNP surveys.

Doug oversees AdhereHealth’s growth as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining AdhereHealth, Berry served as CFO for Home Healthcare Laboratory of America, Inc., Controller for Gordian Health Solutions, Inc., and as Audit Manager with Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Doug was honored in 2011 & 2012 as a Nashville Business Journal “Power Leader in Accounting.” He serves on boards for Park Center and Belmont University and previously served boards for Buddies of Nashville and Franklin Road Academy.

Doug currently serves on the healthcare committee of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accounts and earned his accreditation for business valuations from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has an MBA and a BS in Finance from the University of Tennessee.

J.R.’s legal background spans a range of disciplines including contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and financial analysis. Managing large-scale, multi-personnel projects, business financials, risk management for C-Corporations and LLCs, in addition to business strategy and corporate compliance.

J.R. has worked on legal teams with the Walmart Corporation, Bassett Law Firm, and LogoGarden.com.

J.R. is a graduate from the University of Arkansas, School of Law, where he had a number of accomplishments both inside and outside the classroom. Prior to attending law school J.R. graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelors in Philosophy. While at Arkansas State University he was a two-sport varsity letterman in both Football and Track. J.R. received a Masters in Business Administration from Tennessee Tech University with a concentration in Finance.

Mark joined AdhereHealth as Chief Commercial Officer in 2020, bringing almost 30 years of experience across healthcare, pharmacy and managed care. Mark is accountable for all aspects of how we commercialize the AdhereHealth™ solutions across all markets – this includes all areas of Sales, Marketing and Client Success.

Mark started his career in sales at Xerox Corporation in New York City. Following a number of successful years achieving goals there, Mark was recruited into the healthcare industry and hired as a sales executive at Aetna. While there, Mark held numerous leadership positions working on a number of health plan startups and turnarounds. Mark was then recruited by Merck-Medco to assist in the startup of a middle-market division that quickly grew to significance. After that, Mark moved on to be the President and General Manager for Cigna of North Carolina and South Carolina markets. From there, Mark held leadership roles for a number of middle-market Pharmacy Benefit Management organizations, most recently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Welldyne.

Mark served as Chairman of the North Carolina Association of Health Plans. He was also appointed by the North Carolina Speaker of the House to the North Carolina Health Insurance Innovations Commission.

Mark holds a Bachelor's degree from Marist College.

David joined AdhereHealth as Chief Information Officer in 2020, bringing almost 20 years of executive-level experience in technology and business innovation. His expertise ranges from large-scale IT strategy development to project execution in the healthcare industry to enterprise digital transformation initiatives. His specialties include software engineering, agile development, cloud computing, analytics, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), physician practice management, and technology leadership.

David worked most recently at Greenway Health as their SVP of Product Development responsible for all core products as well as next generation solutions. Prior to Greenway, David was VP of Product Development at R1 RCM where he was building strategic solutions across the healthcare revenue cycle management space. David was also the technology leader for a Nashville-based company, Intermedix that was acquired by R1 RCM in 2017. Prior to Intermedix, David worked for 10+ years at IBM where he served as the SVP of Product Development & Technology leading an international team of product managers, software engineers, architects, and UI/UX designers who were tasked with building enterprise software and cloud-based SaaS solutions for fortune 100 companies.

David studied Information Technology at CDI Institute and the University of Massachusetts.

Kempton currently serves as the Chief Analytics Officer at AdhereHealth. He leads a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, report designers, operational process experts, and data analysts to meet current and future market needs using all enterprise data.

Kempton previously worked at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield where he received the New York Presidents’ Award and participated in the WellPoint Emerging Leader Program. He was a two-term Lecturer at Columbia University, and has co-authored work published in the Journal of Biomedical Informatics. Kempton holds a BA in Economics from Washington & Lee University, a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and a Master’s in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University.

Kempton serves on the Percy Priest Elementary PTO as Co-Treasurer is a board member with the Center for Living and Learning. Previously, he served on the Board of United Cerebral Palsy of Middle TN, is the past Chair of the Board of Friends Life Community, and is the past Alumni Chair for Montgomery Bell Academy’s Annual Fund giving campaign.

Kent joined AdhereHealth in 2013, bringing over a decade of operational, consulting, and business development experience for the healthcare technology industry. Kent’s leadership at AdhereHealth includes business development, strategic partnerships and product strategy.

Kent came to AdhereHealth following multiple successes with AIM Healthcare (now a part of Optum, a United Health Group, Inc. company), rising to National Director as it expanded into new markets. Kent was a key player in Optum’s growth strategy representing solutions for both providers, managed care and government entities.

Actively involved in the community, Kent currently serves on the Board of Directors at BrightStone, Inc., and as a Stephen Minister. Kent holds a BA in Psychology from the Miami University and a MA in Counseling from The University of Toledo.

Prior to joining Riverside as an Operating Partner, Brad was the CEO for SAFEbuilt, a Riverside portfolio company. Additionally, he has served as a key executive across various industries including healthcare, industrial services, and manufacturing.

Brad holds a BS in Business from the University of Nebraska, a Masters in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, and an MBA from Purdue University.

Brad Fluegel has a long history of strategy, leadership and business development across healthcare. Most recently, he served as the Chief Healthcare Commercial Market Development Officer for Walgreens, one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. In this role, Brad was responsible for all commercial healthcare activities, including sales and contracting, biopharma relationships, retail clinics, clinical affairs, new service development and market planning. Previously, Brad was Chief Strategy and Business Development officer for Walgreens, responsible for corporate strategy and business development.

Prior to joining Walgreens in 2012, he served as executive in residence at Health Evolution Partners. Prior to that, Brad was Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and External Affairs Officer of Wellpoint (now Anthem), one of the nation’s largest health benefits companies. While at Wellpoint, Brad was responsible for long-term strategic planning, government affairs, corporate communications, including public relations, corporate marketing, corporate development, international expansion and innovation, as well as new business ventures.

Prior to Wellpoint, Brad was Senior Vice President of National Accounts and Vice President, Enterprise Strategy at Aetna. Earlier, Brad was CEO for Reden & Anders (Optum Consulting) and Tillinghast-Towers Perrin. Brad also held several roles in strategy, planning and product development and management at Harvard Community Health Plan and organized and led audits, feasibility studies and related projects for health care clients at Arthur Andersen & Co.

In addition to AdhereHealth, Brad currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fitbit, Premera Blue Cross, Metropolitan Jewish Health System and ElderPlan. Brad earned a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington. He also serves as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.

Charles N. “Chip” Kahn III is President of the Federation of American Hospitals, the national advocacy organization for investor-owned hospitals and health systems. He has held this position since 2001.

Prior to the Federation, Chip was one of the leaders in the health insurance industry serving as Executive Vice President and President of the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA). Chip has a distinguished career as a professional staff member on Capitol Hill specializing in health policy issues. He has served as Staff Director for the Health subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee. On this committee, his efforts helped form the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Medicare provisions of the 1997 Balanced Budget Act. Chip later served as a senior health policy advisor to former Senator David Durenberger, (R-MN), as well as a legislative assistant of health to former Senator Dan Quayle (R-IN).

Chip serves on the Boards and Advisory Committees of various organizations including the University of Michigan’s Economic Research Initiative on the Uninsured, the Partnership for Prevention, the Center for Studying Health Systems Change and the Robert Wood Johnson Health Fellowships Program.

Mr. Kahn teaches health policy at The Johns Hopkins University, George Washington University and Tulane University.

Mr. Kahn received a B.A. degree from The Johns Hopkins University. He also holds a Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, which in 2001 bestowed upon him its prestigious “Champion of Public Health” award. Mr. Kahn is a member of Delta Omega, the honorary society for graduate studies in public health.

Mike Kane is the founder and principal of Kestrel Asset Management, a Philadelphia area investment firm that operates three limited partnership investment funds, including one dedicated to private equity companies.

Mike is the former Vice President of Kane Is Able, Inc. a third-generation family-owned logistics company based in Scranton, PA. His responsibilities included strategic planning, financial management and corporate governance.

In addition, Mike is a member of the Leadership Council of PathNorth, a national CEO group; the Business Leaders Network, a Philadelphia CEO group; and the Institute for Private Investors, where he is a member of the advisory faculty.
