If you've received a call from AdhereHealth or want to know more about who we are and how we support your health, you're in the right place. We've put together answers to some of the questions you might have, so you know what to expect, how we help and how to get the support you need.
- Why is AdhereHealth contacting me?
We work with your health plan to help you stay on top of your medications and overall health. You may get a call or text if you missed a medication, recently left the hospital or need extra support managing a health condition.
- Do I have to pay for this service?
Support from AdhereHealth is included as part of your health plan. There's no cost to you.
- Is this a real call? How can I tell it's not a scam?
Our Care Navigators will always identify themselves and explain they're calling on behalf of your health plan. They may ask for basic information to confirm who you are, but they will never ask for money, your full Social Security number or bank information.
- What kind of help can I get?
Care Navigators can help you understand your medications, talk through side effects or concerns and help you with things like getting to the pharmacy or remembering to take your medicine.
- What if I don't want to talk right now?
That's OK! You can let the Care Navigator know you'd prefer a different time-or that you'd rather not get calls at all. But please remember why it helps to talk: we are here to help you feel your very best and get the support you need.
- How do I get in touch with AdhereHealth?
If you missed a call or have a question, you can call [what number?] or visit com/members [or whatever the URL is] to learn more.
- Will my doctor know I spoke with AdhereHealth?
When it helps your care, we may share information with your doctor or pharmacist-especially if it helps you avoid medication problems or stay on track you're your treatment.
- What if I don't agree with what the Care Navigator suggests?
That's OK! You are always in control of your own healthcare. The Care Navigator is there to offer help and guidance, and in some cases will work with your doctor or pharmacy for the support you may need.
- Are these calls private?
Your health information is protected by law. We follow strict privacy rules and only share your information with your doctor or pharmacy when it's needed for your care.
- Can I get help in another language?
We offer support in many languages. Let your Care Navigator know what you need, and we'll do our best to provide help in your preferred language.
